The feature documentary ~~Falklands~~ Malvinas: a War Diary follows war journalist Ricardo Pereira as he revisits an Argentine soldier’s diary he discovered during the Falklands conflict. In the final months of his life, he seeks its author and proposes a return to the islands, shaping a last story of memory, loss, and reconciliation.

Opening titles and motion graphics—including a library of editorial graphics (intertitles, lower-thirds, and geography/time markers)—were developed to articulate this arc. As the diary guides the narrative flow, a hand-drawn treatment with gestures inspired by William Kentridge was chosen to set a reflective, historical tone. After Effects was used to build the collage base by layering fragments from various videos into compositions, then Procreate was used to hand-draw the final piece frame by frame.
