Malvinas: O Diário de Uma Guerra (Malvinas: A War Diary), revisits the Falklands War through the accounts of Argentine journalist Eduardo Anguita, who was sent to the front in 1982. The film weaves together excerpts from Anguita’s original diaries, archival footage, and interviews to reconstruct the conflict’s behind-the-scenes realities.

The opening title and animated segments were developed using AE’s Roto Brush and Procreate for frame-by-frame animation. Inspired by the film’s handwritten war diary and William Kentridge’s gestural style, the sequences set the tone for its reflective, historical approach.
